Romans 12:13 “Practice Hospitality” What does the word hospitality mean to you? Interestingly, the word “hospitality”, as it is found in the Bible, means “lover of strangers”. This is significant because many people find being a “stranger”, or new in church a negative experience. At Freshwater Community Church, we long to make our new guest feel loved. It is vital for us to be a church that represents the heart of God, and we take the call to. “Love strangers” very seriously. The Party Crew seeks to make each of our guests feel like their church experience is as comfortable as a visit to the home of a good friend. By welcoming them with a warm greeting at the door, serving them a cup of delicious coffee and donut at the coffee bar, or simply encouraging them with a friendly smile, the Party Crew loves to make everyone’s visit to Freshwater a wonderful experience. We seek to create an atmosphere of Christ’s love and acceptance by extending hospitality to all people. We hope that people would experience the love of God as we serve and welcome all.
